Dr. Chou was born and raised in western Massachusetts and is native to Springfield, the 'City of Firsts'. Prior to dental school, Dr. Chou had worked in several professional capacities throughout the city of Springfield, and cultivated his work experience history to craft TrueSmile Health.

Dr. Chou completed his training at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Since graduation, Dr. Chou has completed additional training with other organizations such as implants with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and sedation with the Boston University Henry M. School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chou remains active in continuing education and the professional community in order to give the latest in care and treatment for his patients.
Dr. Chou also has extensive training and experience in the world of esthetic injectables. In affiliation with the Aesthetic Medical Educators Training (AMET), Dr. Chou has been an active national instructor in professional education for materials handling in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
